Why won't Mirkon talk to me in BG3? ›

I fixed this by casting Hold Person on Mirkon and then I could talk to him. When Mirkon is broken he has a hidden Restrained status, which you can't see by examining him but you can see if you try to shove or throw him. Casting something on him to fix that broken status works around the bug.

Saving Mirkon

Attacking the singing harpy gives you a chance to break her concentration, which would end her singing spell, so focus on her until Mirkon or your other party members are free from her trance. Once they're all defeated, speak to Mirkon to calm him down.

There is currently no way to remove the Illithid Tadpole parasites in Baldur's Gate 3. The twist is that once you start this 'Remove the Parasite' quest, you're offered several different options to choose from. How your story progresses ahead is up to you with what options you choose and how lucky you are.

Your new eye gives you +1 on intimidation, but a disadvantage on perception checks and attacks against hags. Perception is an important stat in Baldur's Gate 3, so it depends on whether or not your party can pick up the slack or not.

Some known causes are as follows: Using a Long Rest after getting into range of Mirkon on the beach. If the Goblin Camp leaders are killed, his death is triggered. If Minthara is betrayed after being lured to the Druid's Grove, his death is triggered.

He also becomes more romantically possessive, and, if the player character asks him nicely, will turn them into a vampire spawn, too. Upon another long rest, the ascended Astarion will give the player-controlled character the opportunity to turn into a vampire spawn by drinking a drop of his blood.

Overall, consuming the parasites can serve the player a lot as it makes them more powerful and helps them avoid difficult combats. However, it is by no means necessary and the game can be beaten without.

It also makes attacks on hags have disadvantage, so deciding to go to battle with Auntie Ethel after this point will result in an even tougher fight than before. Most importantly, Auntie Ethel aborts the removal of the parasite, rendering the main draw of helping her in Baldur's Gate 3 moot.

Assuming you're taking a somewhat diplomatic approach to this quest, upon entering the main building of the camp - the Shattered Sanctum - you'll soon come across the Goblin Priestess, Gut. If you ask her for healing, she'll offer to remove the tadpole, as long as you enter her chambers alone.

Once you get Ethel's health low enough, she will stop the fight and ask to make you a deal. She will beg you to leave and let her keep Mayrina in exchange for her giving you power. This takes the form of an ability boost. You can agree, or bargain/threaten your way into leaving with both options.

Save Arabella is a side quest in Baldur's Gate 3 where you're tasked with rescuing a child from Kagha, the leader of the druids in Druids' Grove. She attempted to steal a sacred relic, and is being held captive, so you can offer to save her.

Stealing the Idol isn't too difficult, you can simply walk up to it and grab it, but this causes the Druids' Grove to fall into chaos. The druids will turn on the rest of the grove and infighting will ensue, causing countless NPC deaths, prematurely and irrevocably ending some quests.
