House and location were perfect for us. We’re from Ohio and the distance was approximately 4 hr drive. We came with our grown children and 4 grandchildren. Mountain/lake view in the back and big front yard to play in. Very well equipped and top grade furniture. 3 heating/cooling zones so everyone was comfortable Listed as 5 bedrooms, but actually 8! ( bunk bed, trundle bed, and a queen bedroom. ) Indoor community pool was fun on chilly days. We rented a pontoon boat and the house has a dock to us. We hated to leave. Definitely coming next year!

The house is beautiful. Awesome location. The only issue I had is that the bedroom on the mail floor remained really cold the entire stay. I had the same issue last year when I rented this unit. All other rooms seemed to be alright , but this bedroom (my room) stayed cold. For a person with health issues that is easily affected by a cold bedroom, I was disappointed to have this same issue. Only other issue(minor) there was no propane in the upper level fire pit and some of my guest wanted to enjoy that area but was unable to due to not being able to light the firepit . Other than the 2 issues listed, The house was amazing

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at On the Rocks. The house was clean ( which was most important to our picky group of eight) and comfortable and met the expectations of all. Although it was advertised as a 5 bedroom house, additional private rooms with beds accommodated each person. It’s the most excellent house we’ve stayed at in Deep Creek, and we hope to return next year.

We enjoyed our relaxing weekend at On the Rocks. The house was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed to enhance our stay. Also, having access to cable/smart tv in every room was fantastic. Not having curtains on the wide front door made us slightly uneasy, especially at night. Another minor issue was standing while changing channels on the living room TV because it hung so high over the fireplace. All things considered, we all agreed that our next Deep Creek rental would be On the Rocks, as it met our lofty expectations.

Nice house , very spacious. My only complaint is that the grill was filthy and inoperable. The pots and pans were dirty as well. We had prepped our food for the weekend for grilling and was unable to do so. We then had to clean old stains out of the pots and pans to cook our food on the stove.

As other reviewers have noted, this home is wonderfully appointed, and the owners have seemingly thought of everything. We did not even realize there was a propane-powered fire table on the second-floor balcony until our last evening of vacation because we were so occupied with everything else the home has to offer -- the hot tub, pool table, arcade machine, many board games -- you name it! The listing does not mention that there is one room that contains a bunk bed, and my 3-year-old granddaughter was dazzled by this and couldn't wait to go to bed every night in her "up bed." We would absolutely stay here again -- it's the perfect place to vacation with one's adult kids (or young ones!).

This house was beyond my expectations! Absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend. Very spacious and clean. Only setback, the master suite on main level bathroom: the tub and shower leaked through the walls to the bathroom below it on the lower level which inconvenienced my guest staying in that room. Every time I showered or used the tub, the guest in the room below mine had to clean up water spillage. In addition, although it may seem small, the remote to the tv in the main suite main level could not be found anywhere and I couldn't find a power button to turn on the tv. I have health issues and at times needed to rest. I just wanted to relax in my room and watch TV but was unable to. Other than that, house was very nice!

Our family really enjoyed staying at this fabulous home in Deep Creek for our thanksgiving celebration. The home was beautiful, huge, and well equipped for all our needs. There was plenty of room and space for the entire family to spread out and still enjoy each other’s company. We will definitely look forward to renting On the Rocks again for our next family vacation.

On the Rocks is an amazing home in Deep Creek. It was the perfect place for our family of 15 to spend Thanksgiving this year. There were plenty of bedrooms and each one had its own private bath. In addition, there were several extra rooms with more beds!!The living area was spacious and very comfortable. It is the perfect place for a large family or several families who like to vacation together. We will definitely rent this property again.

What an amazing home!! My family & I had an incredible stay at the On The Rocks home. It was clean, cozy, and perfect for a large family. Each room has its own bedroom which was super convenient, and perfect for families with lots of kiddos! The back deck has a gorgeous view, and the home is close to so many great activities for all. We rented a pontoon boat right across the lake, enjoyed the local park, trails, state park (beach), indoor pool, arcades and much more! We will definitely be back!

My family and I had an awesome and amazing stay at On the Rocks! I have stayed in several houses at Deep Creek and this is hands down THE BEST! The house was very clean and well taken care of. Every little detail is perfectly thought out and the space couldn’t be more perfect. The hosts were wonderful as they knew it was our 10-year wedding anniversary and had a bottle of champagne waiting for us upon arrival... that's the personal touch at its best! The house is fully equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay and the location is super convenient to the lake, Wisp, shops and restaurants. We had a great day on the lake and came back and relaxed in the hot tub and played games. This was the PERFECT place for our family to celebrate our special day!

We've been vacationing in Deep Creek each summer for many years now, and although we've rented many different homes in that time, this one is our favorite! The living room offers ample seating for everyone to be together comfortably, the mattresses were comfortable, tons of outdoor seating, and the porches...my goodness, the porches! A bonus was having a kitchen stocked with literally every gadget, utensil, and small appliance you could possibly need! Thank you to the Stitelys for going above and beyond in appointing this beautiful home!

Wonderful home for multiple families. We had private bedroom/bathrooms for all four families and quiet places for babies to sleep. We loved the views and the outdoor spaces--on the deck overlooking the lake, the level front yard with a fun rock to climb, glider sofas on the front porch, and the patio with a large hot tub. A small playground is a short walk through the woods. We loved our stay and plan to return!

We stayed here with 4 other families. The home is very well furnished and well stocked. Very clean as well. Some of our kids even used the recreational center swimming pool facility and that was a lot of fun as well. All in all, a great stay !

Loved the house and neighborhood! We had a blizzard, and the roads were plowed and we were able to get to the mountain for skiing. Perfect experience!
